For Pomeranian and Sheltie clients we provide high end Lanolin oil shampoo and a top of the line long-coat conditioner designed to leave the dog's coat soft, shiny, and manageable. We finish the bath with a leave in coat gloss and skin moisturizer before a thorough blow dry and brush out to remove any dead coat or tangles! Although the risk of Post Shave Alopecia is strong in these breeds, we will trim, clip or shave pomeranians if that is the best option for the individual dog. Thick coats and notoriously painful knees run in this breed and can contribute to discomfort with grooming when not managed at home.
