No matter the size, the beautiful poodle is one of our favorites! Pick a length that works best with your grooming schedule at home and at the salon. At Spike we can do a variety of poodle trims, including the continental show trim, or chose a cute Asian Freestyle to show off your dog's inner teddybear! If you really want to explore, a terrier trim or Portuguese water dog trim makes for a stately look! The poodles in our shop get bathed with a deep cleaning shampoo first, then a moisturizing or texturizing shampoo, finished with a moisturizing or de-matting conditioner to strengthen the coat and keep the skin healthy! A thorough blow dry, brush, stretch dry and fluff dry prepares your dog's coat for detailed scissoring and clipper work. We do our best to work out any small tangles that we can painlessly remove from your dog's coat. If tangling and matting is too severe, or if your dog finds de-matting to be uncomfortable we can shave mats out and keep your dog happy and comfortable!
