Shihtzus and Havanese are fantastic , people oriented little dogs who value connection. At Spike we take those emotional needs to heart and do our best to make your little dog feel comfortable during the grooming process. Each shihtzu or havanese groom starts with a double shampoo- a deep cleaning pre rinse to break through the oils and dirt and then a hydrating or whitening shampoo to leave them squeaky clean. We follow up the shampoo with a moisturizing conditioner to keep their skin and coat healthy. During the blow drying and brush out process a coat gloss is used to smooth down the hair cuticle while we prepare the coat for precision clipper and scissor work!
